Research Project #1: UNICEF Educational Data

Research Project #1: UNICEF Educational Data
GTP is currently seeking to build a grant for UNICEF. The purpose of this grant is to subsidize the costs of including sports-related components within the Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) programme of UNICEF's Statistics and Monitoring Division of Policy and Practice (chidlinfo.org) by focusing on regional economic and demographic trends in Education for athletes. This additional assessment will be used to address unmet needs and will further complement the interests of the UNDP and UNOSDP by identifying opportunities for capacity building and inclusive market development through the athlete community.

GTP's mission and vision was founded upon 2 specific research components: (1) Secondary school net enrollment ratio or net attendace ratio and (2) Gender parity index (GPI) in secondary education. GTP believes athletes can have the greatest direct impact on these two components. Click here to read more.
